क्रोधात् प्रस्फुरमाणौष्ठो धनुरुद्यम्य भारत । योधयामास वै पार्थ महावेगपराक्रम:,भरतनन्दन! वह महान् वेग और पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न हो क्रोधसे ओंठ फड़फड़ाता हुआ धनुष उठाकर अर्जुनके साथ युद्ध करने लगा
krodhāt prasphuramāṇauṣṭho dhanur udyamya bhārata | yodhayāmāsa vai pārtha mahāvegaparākramaḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : «Ô Bhārata, dans la colère—les lèvres frémissantes—il saisit son arc et engagea le combat contre Arjuna, guerrier doué d’une vitesse prodigieuse et d’une puissance irrésistible.»
