दम्भोद्धवाश्वासुराश्चाहवेषु तया धृत्या जहि कर्ण त्वमद्य | “कर्णको आगे करके सब लोग यही समझ रहे हैं कि तुम्हारा अस्त्र उसके अस्त्रोंद्वारा नष्ट होता जा रहा है। तुमने जिस धैर्यसे प्रत्येक युगमें घोर राक्षस्ोंका
dambhoddhavāśvāsurāś cāhaveṣu tayā dhṛtyā jahi karṇa tvam adya |
Sañjaya dit : «Avec ce même courage inébranlable par lequel jadis, sur bien des champs de bataille, tu détruisis Dambhoddhava, les Asuras Aśva et d’autres ennemis farouches, frappe Karṇa aujourd’hui.»
