नराश्वनागानमितान् निजषघ्नतुः परस्परं चापि महारथौ नृप । नरेश्वर! वे महाधनुर्धर और महारथी वीर महान् अस्त्रोंका प्रयोग करते हुए अपने भयानक बाणोंद्वारा असंख्य मनुष्यों, घोड़ों और हाथियोंका संहार करते और आपसमें भी एक-दूसरेको चोट पहुँचाते थे
sañjaya uvāca | narāśvanāgān amitān nijaśaghnatuḥ parasparaṃ cāpi mahārathau nṛpa |
Sañjaya dit : Ô roi, ces deux grands guerriers de char, archers d’une puissance redoutable, déchaînèrent leurs traits formidables et, de flèches terribles, massacrèrent d’innombrables hommes, chevaux et éléphants ; et, dans la même fureur de la bataille, ils se frappèrent l’un l’autre encore et encore.
