अयं स रथ आयाति श्वेताश्वः कृष्णसारथि: । निषघ्नन्नमित्रान् समरे यं कर्ण परिपृच्छसि,“कर्ण! तुम जिसके विषयमें पूछ रहे थे, वही यह श्वेत घोड़ोंवाला रथ, जिसके सारथि श्रीकृष्ण हैं, समरांगणमें शत्रुओंका संहार करता हुआ इधर ही आ रहा है
ayaṁ sa ratha āyāti śvetāśvaḥ kṛṣṇasārathiḥ | niṣaghnann amitrān samare yaṁ karṇa paripṛcchasi ||
« Ô Karna ! Voici que s’avance ce char même — celui qu’attellent des chevaux blancs et que conduit Krishna. C’est le char dont tu t’enquiers : il traverse le champ de bataille en abattant les ennemis dans le choc de la guerre, et vient par ici. »
