ततः क्रुद्धो महाराज धर्मपुत्रो युधिछ्ठिर:
tataḥ kruddho mahārāja dharmaputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ

संजय उवाच
Even the most dharma-oriented leader can be driven into anger under extreme injustice and battlefield pressure; the verse highlights the ethical tension between righteous self-control and the urgent demands of protecting one’s people and fulfilling duty.
Sañjaya reports to King Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Yudhiṣṭhira—known for restraint and righteousness—has become angry, indicating an escalation in resolve and emotion amid the events of the Karṇa Parva battle sequence.
