कर्णस्य सेनापत्याभिषेकः | Karṇa’s Consecration as Commander-in-Chief
वसुदानस्य पुत्रेण न्यासितो देहमाहवे । काशिराज अभिभेू बहुतेरे काशीनिवासी योद्धाओंसे घिरे हुए थे। वसुदानके पुत्रने युद्धस्थलमें उनसे उनके शरीरका परित्याग करवा दिया
vasudānasya putreṇa nyāsito deham āhave | kāśirājaḥ paribhūto bahubhis te kāśinivāsibhir yoddhaiḥ parivṛtaḥ |
Sañjaya dit : «Encerclé par de nombreux guerriers de Kāśī et durement pressé dans la mêlée, le roi de Kāśī fut contraint d’abandonner son corps sur le champ de bataille par le fils de Vasudāna.»
