Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 58 — Arjuna’s Arrow-Storm and Relief of Bhīmasena
आगच्छमानांस्तान् संख्ये प्रहशन् विजयैषिण: । दधारैको रणे कर्णो जलौघानिव पर्वत:
sañjaya uvāca |
āgacchamānāṁs tān saṅkhye prahaśan vijayaiṣiṇaḥ |
dadhāraiko raṇe karṇo jalaughān iva parvataḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Souriant tandis que ces guerriers s’avançaient au combat, avides de victoire, Karṇa, à lui seul, les retint sur le champ—comme une montagne arrête l’élan des torrents.
