एवं ब्रुवंस्तदा कृष्णो ययौ यत्र युधिष्ठिर: । अर्जुनश्नापि नृपतेर्दर्शनार्थ महारणे,इस प्रकार बातें करते हुए भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन उस महासमरमें राजाका दर्शन करनेके लिये उस स्थानकी ओर चल दिये, जहाँ राजा युधिष्छिर विद्यमान थे

evaṁ bruvaṁs tadā kṛṣṇo yayau yatra yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | arjunaś cāpi nṛpater darśanārthaṁ mahāraṇe ||

Sañjaya dit : Tandis qu’il parlait ainsi, Kṛṣṇa se rendit à l’endroit où se trouvait Yudhiṣṭhira. Arjuna aussi, dans cette grande bataille, alla voir le roi, se dirigeant vers le lieu où Yudhiṣṭhira était posté. Le vers souligne l’action intentionnée au cœur de la guerre : même dans le tumulte du combat, les chefs cherchent conseil, assurance et juste accord avec le dharma par la rencontre directe.
