अर्जुनस्य शीघ्रप्रयाणं भीम-शकुनियुद्धं च

युधिष्ठिरोडपि संग्रामे प्रहारैगाढ्वेदन: । क्रोशमात्रमपक्रम्य तस्थौ भरतसत्तम,भरतश्रेष्ठ! संग्राममें युधिष्ठिरपर बहुत अधिक प्रहार किये गये थे, जिससे उन्हें गहरी वेदना हो रही थी। वे रणभूमिसे एक कोस दूर हटकर खड़े थे
yudhiṣṭhiro 'pi saṅgrāme prahārair gāḍha-vedanaḥ | krośa-mātram apakramya tasthau bharata-sattama ||
Sañjaya dit : Même Yudhiṣṭhira, au cœur de la bataille, fut atteint de nombreux coups et souffrait d’une douleur aiguë. Se retirant d’environ un krośa du tumulte, il demeura à l’écart—ô le meilleur des Bhārata.
