अमी स्थिता द्रौपदेया: पजच पठ्चाचला इव । व्यवस्थिता योद्धुकामा: सर्वेडर्जुनसमा युधि,ये द्रौपदीके पाँचों पुत्र पाँच पर्वतोंके समान अविचल भावसे युद्धके लिये खड़े हैं। रणभूमिमें ये सब-के-सब अर्जुनके समान पराक्रमी हैं
amī sthitā draupadeyāḥ pañca parvatācalā iva | vyavasthitā yoddhukāmāḥ sarve ’rjunasamā yudhi ||
Śalya dit : «Là se tiennent les cinq fils de Draupadī, fermes comme des sommets de montagne, rangés avec la volonté de combattre. Sur le champ de bataille, chacun d’eux égale Arjuna en prouesse.»
शल्य उवाच
The verse underscores steadiness (acalatva) and disciplined readiness as marks of true kṣatriya valor: warriors should stand firm, well-arrayed, and resolute, without being shaken by fear or spectacle.
Śalya points out the five Draupadeyas standing in battle formation, comparing their immovability to mountains and praising their fighting spirit by saying each is as formidable as Arjuna—an observation meant to assess the opposing strength and influence battlefield morale.
