विभ्राजन्ति रथे कर्ण विमाने दैवते यथा । “कर्ण! देवताओंके विमान-जैसे रथपर ये ध्वज हवाके झोंके खा-खाकर कड़कड़ शब्द करते हुए शोभा पा रहे हैं
vibhrājanti rathe karṇa vimāne daivate yathā |
Sañjaya dit : «Ô Karṇa, sur ton char les bannières resplendissent, comme sur un vimāna divin. Frappées sans cesse par les rafales, elles crépitent d’un son aigu et, par là même, accroissent la majesté du char — spectacle de splendeur martiale, tel un présage, au cœur de la guerre qui se déploie.»
