कर्णेन सैन्यस्थापनं तथा नानायुद्धसमवायः
Karna Reforms the Host and Multiple Duels Converge
न च केन च धर्मेण विरुध्यन्ते प्रजा इमा: । सर्व हि तेडब्रुवन् धर्म यदुक्त वेदपारगै:,“इन सब देशोंके लोग किसी भी निमित्तसे धर्मके विरुद्ध नहीं जाते। वेदोंके पारगामी विद्वानोंने जैसा बताया है, उसी रूपमें वे लोग सम्पूर्ण धर्मको मानते और बतलाते हैं
na ca kena ca dharmeṇa virudhyante prajā imāḥ | sarvaṃ hi te ’bruvan dharmaṃ yad uktaṃ vedapāragaiḥ ||
Karna dit : «Et ces peuples, pour quelque raison que ce soit, n’agissent pas à l’encontre du dharma. En vérité, ils proclament et maintiennent l’intégralité du dharma, exactement tel qu’il a été déclaré par ceux qui ont maîtrisé les Veda.»
