कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
याहि देव यतो दैत्याश्षोदयाश्वानतन्द्रित: । पश्य बाह्ोर्बलं मेडद्य निध्नतः शात्रवान् रणे,“देव! जिस ओर दैत्य हैं, उधर ही चलिये और सावधान होकर घोड़ोंको हाँकिये। आज रणभूमिमें जब मैं शत्रुसेनाका संहार करने लगूँ, उस समय आप मेरी इन दोनों भुजाओंका बल देखियेगा”
yāhi deva yato daityāḥ śodayāśvān atandritaḥ | paśya bāhor balaṁ medady nidhnataḥ śātravān raṇe ||
Le Bisaïeul (Brahmā) dit : « Avance, ô cocher divin, vers le côté où se tiennent les Daityas ; presse les chevaux sans la moindre défaillance. Aujourd’hui, lorsque je me mettrai à anéantir les armées ennemies dans la bataille, tu verras la force de mes deux bras. »
