त्रिपुरदाह-इतिहासः
Tripura-destruction exemplum and counsel to Śalya
तत्रातुष्यन्त योधाश्व सिद्धाश्चापि दिवि स्थिता:,सुतसोम जो वहाँ पैदल होकर भी रथपर बैठे हुए शकुनिके साथ युद्ध कर रहा था। उसके इस अविश्वसनीय और अद्भुत कर्मको देखकर वहाँ खड़े हुए समस्त योद्धा तथा आकाशकमें स्थित हुए सिद्धगण भी बहुत संतुष्ट हुए
tatrātuṣyanta yodhāś ca siddhāś cāpi divi sthitāḥ |
Sañjaya dit : Alors, les guerriers présents furent saisis d’une grande joie, et même les Siddhas demeurant au ciel éprouvèrent une profonde satisfaction. Témoins d’un exploit si extraordinaire au cœur du combat, ils approuvèrent la vaillance et la résolution inébranlable déployées, comme si les mondes eux-mêmes attestaient l’excellence héroïque lorsqu’elle se montre sans trembler devant le péril.
