दुःशासननिग्रहः—द्रोणधृष्टद्युम्नयुद्धप्रसङ्गः

घटोत्कचस्तथा शूरं राक्षसं तमलायुधम् | अभ्ययाद् रभसं युद्धे वेगमास्थाय मध्यमम्,इधर घटोत्कचने अपने प्रतिद्वन्द्दी शूर राक्षस अलायुधका जो युद्धमें बड़ा वेगशाली था, मध्यम वेगका आश्रय ले सामना किया
Ghaṭotkacaḥ tathā śūraṃ rākṣasaṃ tam Alāyudham | abhyayād rabhasaṃ yuddhe vegam āsthāya madhyamam ||
Sañjaya dit : De même, Ghaṭotkaca s’avança au combat contre ce rākṣasa héroïque, Alāyudha. Bien qu’Alāyudha fût d’une vitesse extrême dans la mêlée, Ghaṭotkaca l’affronta de face, en gardant un élan mesuré, à mi-allure.
