The Exploits of Śaineya/Sātyaki amid Encirclement

समेत्य तु महासेने चक्रतुर्वेगमुत्तमम् । जाह्नवीयमुने नद्यौ प्रावषीवोल्बणोदके,वे दोनों विशाल सेनाएँ परस्पर भिड़कर विजयके लिये बड़े वेगसे आगे बढ़नेका प्रयत्न करने लगीं; मानो वर्षा-ऋतुमें जलकी बाढ़ आनेसे बड़ी हुई गंगा और यमुना दोनों नदियाँ बड़े वेगसे मिल रही हों
Translation
Sañjaya dit : Les deux grandes armées se heurtèrent et s’efforcèrent d’avancer avec une vitesse souveraine pour la victoire, telles le Gange et la Yamunā, grossis par les crues de la saison des pluies, se rejoignant avec un courant impétueux.
