Droṇa-parva Adhyāya 95 — Sātyaki’s Breakthrough and the Routing of Allied Contingents
छादयामास समरे मेघ: सूर्यमिवोदितम् । फिर तो जैसे बादल उदित हुए सूर्यको ढक लेता है, उसी प्रकार अर्जुनने समरांगणमें सोनेके पंखवाले बाणोंद्वारा गदासहित रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ अम्बष्ठकोी आच्छादित कर दिया ।। ६५ *॥ अथापरै: शरैश्वापि गदां तस्य महात्मन:
chādayāmāsa samare meghaḥ sūryam ivoditam |
Sañjaya dit : Au cœur du combat, il le recouvrit entièrement, comme un nuage voile le soleil à peine levé. L’image dit combien l’assaut devint écrasant, éclipsant la force et jusqu’à la vue de l’adversaire dans l’obscurité morale de la guerre.
