Sātyaki’s Assurance and the Protection of Dharmarāja (सात्यकिवचनम्—धर्मराजरक्षणविचारः)
स त्वमद्य महाबाहो राजानं परिपालय । यथैव हि मया गुप्तस्त्वया गुप्तो भवेत् तथा,“महाबाहो! आज तुम्हीं राजा युधिष्ठिरकी सब ओरसे रक्षा करो। जिस प्रकार वे मेरे द्वारा सुरक्षित होते हैं, उसी प्रकार तुम्हारे द्वारा भी उनकी सुरक्षा हो सकती है
sa tvam adya mahābāho rājānaṃ paripālaya | yathaiva hi mayā guptas tvayā gupto bhavet tathā ||
Sañjaya dit : «Ainsi donc, ô toi aux bras puissants, aujourd’hui tu dois garder le roi de tous côtés. Car de même qu’il a été protégé par moi, de même peut-il l’être par toi.»
