येन कार्येण सम्प्राप्ती युवां तत् साधयामि किम् | व्रियतामात्मन: श्रेयस्तत् सर्व प्रददानि वाम्
yena kāryeṇa samprāptī yuvāṃ tat sādhayāmi kim | vriyatām ātmanaḥ śreyas tat sarva pradadāni vām ||
Sañjaya dit : « Dans quel dessein êtes-vous venus ici tous deux — quelle tâche dois-je accomplir pour vous ? Choisissez ce qui est vraiment le meilleur pour vous-mêmes ; je vous accorderai à tous deux tout ce que vous demanderez. »
