य॑ प्रपद्यन्ति विद्वांस: सूक्ष्माध्यात्मपदैषिण: । तमजं कारणात्मानं जग्मतु: शरणं भवम्,सूक्ष्म अध्यात्मपदकी अभिलाषा रखनेवाले विद्वान् जिनकी शरण लेते हैं, उन्हीं कारणस्वरूप अजन्मा भगवान् शिवकी शरणमें श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन भी गये
ye prapadyanti vidvāṁsaḥ sūkṣmādhyātmapadaiṣiṇaḥ | tam ajaṁ kāraṇātmānaṁ jagmatuḥ śaraṇaṁ bhavam ||
Sañjaya dit : Les sages en quête du but subtil de la réalisation intérieure prennent refuge auprès de ce Seigneur non né, le Soi même de la causalité. De même, Kṛṣṇa et Arjuna allèrent chercher refuge auprès de Bhava (Śiva).
