Droṇa-pātana-paripṛcchā (Inquiry into the Fall of Droṇa) | द्रोणपातनपरिपृच्छा
तत्रैनमर्जुनश्वैव पार्षतश्न सहानुग: । प्रत्यगृह्नात् ततः सर्वे समापेतुर्महारथा:
tatrainam arjunaś caiva pārṣataś ca sahānugaḥ | pratyagṛhṇāt tataḥ sarve samāpetur mahārathāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : Là, Arjuna et Dhṛṣṭadyumna, fils de Pṛṣata, avec leurs compagnons, lui firent face et l’accueillirent en retour ; puis tous les grands guerriers de char se rassemblèrent.
संजय उवाच
Even amid warfare, conduct is shaped by order, loyalty, and proper protocol: leaders act with coordinated responsibility, and collective action (assembly of mahārathas) reflects disciplined governance rather than chaos.
Sañjaya reports that Arjuna and Dṛṣṭadyumna, along with their attendants, formally receive a certain person (‘him’) and then the principal chariot-warriors gather together, indicating a strategic regrouping or organized convergence of commanders.
