धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणरथारोহণं सात्यकेः प्रतिरक्षणं च | Dhrishtadyumna Boards Droṇa’s Chariot; Sātyaki’s Counter-Protection
वार्ष्णेयीदयितं शूरं मया सततलालितम् । यदि पुत्र न पश्यामि यास्यामि यमसादनम्,“सुभद्राके प्राणप्यारे शूरवीर पुत्रको, जिसको मैंने सदा लाड़-प्यार किया है, यदि नहीं देखूँगा तो मैं भी यमलोक चला जाऊँगा
sañjaya uvāca |
vārṣṇeyīdayitaṃ śūraṃ mayā satatalālitam |
yadi putra na paśyāmi yāsyāmi yamasādanam ||
Sañjaya dit : «Si je ne puis contempler ce fils héroïque—si cher à Vārṣṇeyī (Subhadrā)—que j’ai sans cesse chéri et élevé avec tendresse, alors, mon enfant, moi aussi j’irai à la demeure de Yama.»
