Droṇasya raudra-prayogaḥ
Droṇa’s intensified assault and the Pāṇḍava response

The verse highlights how extraordinary power (divyāstras) magnifies moral responsibility: brilliance in battle is not merely spectacle, but a reminder that the use of superior force carries grave consequences within the framework of kṣatriya-dharma.
Sañjaya describes Yājñaseni (Dhṛṣṭadyumna) as a great warrior who is flashing with the use or readiness of celestial weapons, indicating an intensification of the combat in the Drona Parva battle sequence.
