Droṇānīka-praveśa: Arjuna’s respectful appeal to Droṇa and renewed advance toward Jayadratha (द्रोणानीकप्रवेशः)
Even when aided by divine assurance or gifts, true and lasting victory is portrayed as arising from dharma—ethical, lawful conduct—rather than from deceit or adharma.
After affirming that events will unfold as stated (“So it shall be”), Agni vanishes. King Gaya then receives what was promised and proceeds to defeat his enemies through righteous means.
