Jayadrathasya śoka-bhaya-vilāpaḥ — Droṇena āśvāsanaṃ ca

तस्य रोषान्महाराज खेभ्योडग्निरुदतिष्ठत । तेन सर्वा दिशो व्याप्ता: सान्तर्देशा दिधक्षता,महाराज! उस समय क्रोधवश ब्रह्माजीके श्रवण-नेत्र आदि इन्द्रियोंसे अग्नि प्रकट हो गयी। वह अग्नि इस जगत्को दग्ध करनेकी इच्छासे सम्पूर्ण दिशाओं और विदिशाओं (कोणों)-में फैल गयी
Translation
Ô Maharaja ! Sous l’emportement de sa colère, du Brahmā jaillit le feu, né de ses sens—oreilles, yeux et autres. Ce feu, désireux d’embraser le monde, se répandit dans toutes les directions et jusque dans les directions intermédiaires (les angles).
