- १३६ ॥- द्रोणपर्वकी सम्पूर्ण एलोक-संख्या ९९१७८ श्रवण-महिमा स्वधीते यत् फल वेदे तदस्मिन्नपि पर्वणि । क्षत्रियाणामभीरूणां युक्तमत्र महद् यश:
drauṇaparvaki sampūrṇa śloka-saṅkhyā 99178 | śravaṇa-mahimā svadhīte yat phalaṃ vede tad asminn api parvaṇi | kṣatriyāṇām abhīrūṇāṃ yuktam atra mahad yaśaḥ ||
Dans le Droṇa Parva, le nombre total de ślokas est de 99 178. Le mérite et la puissance purificatrice obtenus en écoutant (cette section) sont le même fruit que le Veda promet à celui qui l’a étudié comme il se doit ; ce fruit se trouve aussi dans ce parva. Ici, une grande gloire est justement attribuée aux kṣatriyas sans peur.
