Educational Q&A

The verse highlights the kshatriya ethos in war: when challenged or injured, a warrior is expected to respond with resolve and directness, channeling anger into disciplined action rather than fear or indecision.

Sanjaya reports that a mighty warrior suddenly accelerates and charges toward Bhima’s chariot, indicating a focused attempt to engage Bhima in close combat and turn the tide through a decisive strike.
