द्रोणस्य सुपर्णव्यूहः — युधिष्ठिरप्रत्यव्यूहः
Droṇa’s Suparṇa Formation and Yudhiṣṭhira’s Counter-array
अथ नारायणा: क्रुद्धा विविधायुधपाणय: । छादयन्त: शरव्रातै: परिवद्रुर्धन॑जयम्
atha nārāyaṇāḥ kruddhā vividhāyudhapāṇayaḥ | chādayantaḥ śaravrātaiḥ parivadrur dhanañjayam ||
Sañjaya dit : Alors les Nārāyaṇa, courroucés et portant des armes de toutes sortes, se ruèrent autour de Dhanañjaya (Arjuna), l’accablant en le couvrant de volées de flèches serrées. La scène souligne que, dans la guerre, la colère et la force du nombre peuvent un instant éclipser même le plus grand des guerriers, éprouvant la constance et la droiture au cœur du tumulte.
