अपरे दशनैरोष्ठानदशन्‌ क्रोधमूर्च्छिता: । कोई-कोई नरेश हाथसे हाथ मलने लगे। कुछ क्रोधसे आतुर हो दाँतोंसे ओठ चबाने लगे

Transliteration

apare daśanair oṣṭhān adaśan krodha-mūrcchitāḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya dit : «D’autres, submergés et comme fous de colère, se mordaient les lèvres à belles dents. Les rois, incapables de contenir leur fureur, trahissaient ainsi leur trouble par ces gestes involontaires.»
