तमाजिशीर्षमायान्तं दहन्तं क्षत्रियर्ष भान्‌ । पराक्रान्तं पराक्रम्य तत: क्षत्रियपुड़वा:

Transliteration

tam ājiśīrṣam āyāntaṁ dahantaṁ kṣatriyarṣabhān | parākrāntaṁ parākramya tataḥ kṣatriyapuṅgavāḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Le voyant s’avancer jusqu’au tout premier front de la bataille, flamboyant comme un feu dévorant parmi les meilleurs kṣatriyas, les plus grands guerriers rassemblèrent leur propre vaillance et s’élancèrent pour le rencontrer et lui opposer résistance.
