किमन्यद् राक्षसानन्यानस्मांश्व॒ परिभूय ह । “इतना ही नहीं, उन्होंने मेरा तथा दूसरे राक्षसोंका अपमान करके पूर्वकालमें राक्षसकन्या हिडिम्बाके साथ भी बलात्कार किया था। इससे बढ़कर दूसरा अपराध क्या हो सकता है?

Sañjaya dit : « Quel forfait pourrait être plus grand que celui-ci ? Non seulement il m’a outragé, moi et les autres rākṣasas, mais jadis encore il a violé la jeune rākṣasī Hiḍimbā. »
