ततो&श्मवृष्टिरत्युग्रा महत्यासीत् समन्तत:ः
tato 'śmavṛṣṭir atyugrā mahaty āsīt samantataḥ
Sañjaya dit : Alors, de toutes parts, s’éleva une immense et très féroce pluie de pierres — sinistre aggravation de la violence du combat, comme si le champ de bataille lui-même se dressait contre la retenue et l’humanité.
