महत्या सेनया सार्ध ततो युद्धमवर्तत । इसी प्रकार आपके पुत्रोंने भी विशाल सेनाके साथ आकर द्विजश्रेष्ठ कृपाचार्यको अपने बीचमें कर लिया। फिर दोनों दलोंमें घोर युद्ध होने लगा
mahatyā senayā sārdha tato yuddham avartata |
Sañjaya dit : Alors, une vaste armée rassemblée, la bataille se mit en mouvement. De même, tes fils, arrivant avec leur grande troupe, placèrent au milieu d’eux Kṛpācārya, le meilleur des deux-fois-nés ; puis un combat effroyable s’éleva entre les deux camps.
