Transliteration

vadhyamānāni sainyāni samantāt tair mahārathaiḥ

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Les armées, taillées en pièces de toutes parts par ces grands guerriers de char, tombaient en ruine—image de l’élan implacable de la guerre, où la prouesse submerge les multitudes et où le poids moral du carnage pèse sur le champ.
