Droṇa’s Withdrawal, Death, and the Kaurava Rout (द्रोणनिधन-प्रसङ्गः)
The verse uses cosmic scale to show how unchecked martial power and anger can dominate the moral and physical landscape, reminding the listener that war magnifies human energies beyond normal bounds and can eclipse ordinary duties and peace.
Sañjaya describes the overwhelming brilliance/energy of two principal combatants (implied by 'those two'), whose radiance seems to expand past earth and the atmosphere, filling all directions—signaling an intense, climactic confrontation.
