द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय १६२: प्रातःसंध्यायां युद्धप्रवृत्तिः तथा रजोमेघे संमूढता
ततो<ब्रवीत् सकैकेयान् पज्चालान् गौतमीसुतः । प्रहरध्वमित: सर्वे मम गात्रे महारथा:
tato 'bravīt sa kaikeyān pāñcālān gautamīsutaḥ | praharadhvam itaḥ sarve mama gātre mahārathāḥ ||
Alors le fils de Gautamī s’adressa aux Kékayas et aux Pāñcālas : «Ô grands guerriers de char, frappez-moi ici même—sur mon propre corps !»
