शरा दश दिशो मुक्ता वृषसेनेन संयुगे | विचेरुस्ते विनिर्भिद्य नरवाजिरथद्विपान्,उस युद्धस्थलमें वृषसेनके छोड़े हुए बाण हाथी, घोड़े, रथ और मनुष्योंको विदीर्ण करते हुए दसों दिशाओंमें विचरने लगे
sañjaya uvāca | śarā daśa diśo muktā vṛṣaseṇena saṃyuge | vicerus te vinirbhidya naravājirathadvipān |
Sañjaya dit : Sur ce champ de bataille, les flèches lancées par Vṛṣasena se répandirent vers les dix directions, transperçant hommes, chevaux, chars et éléphants.
