अध्याय १५९ — रात्रौ श्रमविरामः
Night Exhaustion and Brief Pause in Battle
स तथाभिहतो भीमश्नचकम्पे च मुमोह च
sa tathābhihato bhīmaḥ śanakaiḥ akampe ca mumohaca
Sañjaya dit : Ainsi frappé, Bhīma—bien que renommé pour son courage inébranlable—se mit à trembler légèrement et, un instant, s’évanouit. Dans l’atmosphère morale de la guerre, ce vers souligne que même le plus puissant peut vaciller sous la violence, révélant le prix humain que la fureur menée par l’adharma et le combat sans relâche imposent au corps et à l’esprit.
