सो5हमद्य गमिष्यामि यत्र ते पुरुषर्षभा: । हता मदर्थे संग्रामे युध्यमाना: किरीटिना,वे नरश्रेष्ठ सुहृद् रणभूमिमें मेरे लिये युद्ध करते-करते अर्जुनके हाथसे मारे जाकर जिन लोकोंमें गये हैं, वहीं आज मैं भी जाऊँगा
so 'ham adya gamiṣyāmi yatra te puruṣarṣabhāḥ | hatā madarthe saṅgrāme yudhyamānāḥ kirīṭinā ||
Duryodhana dit : «Aujourd’hui, moi aussi j’irai dans ce même séjour où sont allés ces héros, taureaux parmi les hommes — tombés au combat pour moi, tandis qu’ils luttaient, sous la main d’Arjuna au diadème.»
