Alāyudha’s Resolve to Confront Bhīma

The verse teaches śaraṇāgati—taking refuge in the supreme, Veda-praised Lord—as the sure path to the highest welfare (anuttamā bhūti), implying that true prosperity is grounded in spiritual surrender and alignment with dharma.
Sañjaya, narrating events to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, expresses reverence for Śrī Kṛṣṇa as the one extolled by the Vedas and declares his own resolve to seek refuge in him for the highest good amid the turmoil of the war narrative.
