आपेततुर्महावेगौ समुच्छितगदावुभौ । पुनरन्तरमार्गस्थौ मण्डलानि विचेरतु:,वे दोनों महावेगशाली वीर गदा उठाये एक-दूसरेपर टूट पड़े। फिर अन्तर्मार्गमें स्थित हो मण्डलाकार गतिसे विचरने लगे

Transliteration

āpetatur mahāvegau samucchita-gadāv ubhau | punar antar-mārga-sthau maṇḍalāni viceratuḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya dit : Les deux héros, brandissant leurs massues avec une force impétueuse, se ruèrent l’un sur l’autre. Puis, à portée rapprochée, ils prirent place et se mirent à tourner en cercles, guettant l’ouverture et le juste instant.
