द्रोणकर्णयोः निशि संप्रहारः — Night Engagement with Droṇa and Karṇa
सैन्धवं प्राप्स्ते वीर: सव्यसाची धनंजय: । 'पाण्डवोंके प्रधान वीर अर्जुन जैसे भी किसी तरह सिंधुराजको नहीं मार सकेंगे, वैसा प्रयत्न करूँगा। जबतक मैं युद्धमें तत्पर होकर पैने बाण छोड़ता रहूँगा, तबतक सव्यसाची वीर धनंजय सिंधुराजको नहीं पा सकेंगे
saindhavaṁ prāpsyate vīraḥ savyasācī dhanañjayaḥ |
Sañjaya dit : « Le héros Dhanañjaya Arjuna, célèbre sous le nom de Savyasācī, parviendra (et fera face) au roi de Sindhu. Mais je m’efforcerai de toutes mes forces pour que le premier des héros pāṇḍava, Arjuna, ne puisse d’aucune manière tuer le roi de Sindhu. Tant que je resterai tendu vers la bataille et que je ne cesserai de décocher des flèches acérées, tant que cela durera, le vaillant Savyasācī Dhanañjaya ne pourra atteindre le roi de Sindhu. »
