Night engagement and the attempt to reach Droṇa
आसीद् भीमसहायस्य रौद्रमाधिरथेर्गतम् । जैसे वायुकी सहायता पाकर सूखे वनमें तथा घास-फूँसमें अग्निकी गति बढ़ जाती है, उसी प्रकार उस महायुद्धमें भीमसेनके साथ सूतपुत्र कर्णकी भयंकर गति बढ़ गयी थी

Sañjaya dit : Avec Bhīma pour appui, l’élan du grand guerrier au char devint farouche et irrésistible. De même que le feu, aidé du vent, se répand vite dans la forêt sèche, sur l’herbe et la paille, ainsi, dans cette grande bataille, la charge redoutable de Karṇa, fils du sūta, s’accrut encore.
