कथं सात्यकिभीमाशभ्यां व्यतिक्रान्तो$सि मानद । “वहाँ भी वे सब-के-सब अपराजित होकर मेरी सेनापर प्रहार कर रहे हैं। मान लिया, महारथी अर्जुन रणभूमिमें (अधिक शक्तिशाली होनेके कारण) आपको लाँघकर आगे बढ़ गये हैं; परंतु दूसरोंको मान देनेवाले गुरुदेव! सात्यकि और भीमसेनने किस तरह आपका लंघन किया है?
kathaṃ sātyakibhīmāśabhyāṃ vyatikrānto'si mānada |
Sañjaya dit : «Comment Sātyaki et Bhīmasena ont-ils pu te dépasser, ô dispensateur d’honneur ? Quand bien même on concéderait que le grand guerrier de char Arjuna, plus puissant au combat, t’ait franchi sur le champ de bataille, comment ces deux-là ont-ils, eux aussi, outrepassé ta défense ?»
