एष ते सदृशं शत्रो: कर्म भीम: करोम्यहम् | “परंतु आज तुम्हारे मुँहसे जो बात निकल रही है, उससे हमलोगोंपर तुम्हारा विपरीत भाव लक्षित होता है। यदि तुम अपने-आपको शत्रु मानते हो तो ऐसा ही सही। यह मैं भीमसेन तुम्हारे शत्रुके अनुरूप कर्म कर रहा हूँ"
sañjaya uvāca | eṣa te sadṛśaṃ śatroḥ karma bhīmaḥ karomy aham |
Sañjaya dit : «Voici l’acte qui te sied en tant qu’ennemi ; moi—Bhīma—je l’accomplis. Car les paroles qui sortent à présent de ta bouche trahissent une intention hostile envers nous. Si tu choisis de te tenir pour ennemi, qu’il en soit ainsi ; j’agirai envers toi comme il convient envers un ennemi.»
