Duryodhana’s Incursion and the Tumult of Battle
तथैव वृष्णिवीरे5पि सात्वते युद्धदुर्मदे । अतिभारे नियुक्तश्न मया शैनेयनन्दन:,'शत्रुसूदन अर्जुनपर जैसा मेरा प्रेम है, वैसा ही रणदुर्मद वृष्णिवंशी वीर सात्यकिपर भी है। मैंने शिनिवंशका आनन्द बढ़ानेवाले सात्यकिको महान् कार्यभार सौंप रखा था
tathaiva vṛṣṇivīre 'pi sātvatē yuddha-durmade | atibhāre niyuktaś ca mayā śaineya-nandanaḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : «De la même manière, je porte cette même affection au héros vṛṣṇi Sātyaki, de la lignée des Sātvata, enivré par l’ardeur de la guerre. Au fils de Śini, qui réjouit sa lignée, j’avais confié une responsabilité des plus lourdes.»
