Duryodhana–Karna Dialogue on Vyūha-bheda and Daiva
छादयित्वा रणे द्रोणो रथस्थं रथिनां वरम् । जारासंधिं जघानाशु मिषतां सर्वधन्विनाम्,इस प्रकार रणक्षेत्रमें द्रोणाचार्यने सम्पूर्ण धनुर्धरोंक देखत-देखते रथपर बैठे हुए रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ जरासंधकुमारको अपने बाणोंद्वारा आच्छादित करके उसे शीघ्र ही कालके गालमें डाल दिया
sañjaya uvāca | chādayitvā raṇe droṇo rathasthaṁ rathināṁ varam | jarāsandhiṁ jaghānāśu miṣatāṁ sarvadhanvinām ||
Sañjaya dit : Au cœur de la bataille, Droṇa couvrit de flèches le fils de Jarāsandha—le premier des guerriers de char—debout sur son char; et, sous les yeux de tous les archers, il l’abattit promptement, l’envoyant à la mort.
