इति ब्रुवन्तो वेगेन निपेतुस्ते महारथा: । वयं प्रतिजिगीषन्तस्तत्र तान् समभिद्रुता:,सेनापतिकी पूर्वोक्त बात दुहराते हुए सभी पाण्डव महारथी बड़े वेगसे वहाँ आ पहुँचे। उस समय हमलोगोंने भी उन्हें जीतनेकी अभिलाषासे उनपर धावा कर दिया
iti bruvanto vegena nipetuste mahārathāḥ | vayaṁ pratijigīṣantastatra tān samabhidrutāḥ ||
Sañjaya dit : «Sur ces paroles, ces grands combattants en char se ruèrent en avant avec vitesse. Et nous aussi, désireux de les vaincre, nous nous lançâmes droit sur eux, là même.»
