Droṇa-parva 112: Karṇa–Bhīma Engagement and Duryodhana’s Protective Order
praviśaitad bala tāta dhārtarāṣṭrastha durmateḥ | satyaparākramī vatsa! tvaṃ me imāṃ bātāṃ mānaya durbuddhi duryodhanasya etasyāṃ senāyāṃ praviśa kuru ||
Even amid war, Yudhiṣṭhira frames action through ethical discernment: he urges a capable ally to act decisively while explicitly identifying the opposing side as guided by misguided intent, highlighting the dharmic need to choose one’s alignment and act with steadiness.
In the Drona Parva’s battle context, Yudhiṣṭhira addresses a younger or dear warrior, instructing him to enter the Kaurava host—Duryodhana’s army—after heeding Yudhiṣṭhira’s words, indicating a tactical move into enemy ranks.
