Droṇa’s Conditional Boon: The Plan to Capture Yudhiṣṭhira (द्रोणेन युधिष्ठिरग्रहणोपायः)

संवर्धता गोपकुले बालेनैव महात्मना । विख्यापितं बल बाद्दोस्त्रिषु लोकेषु संजय,संजय! बाल्यावस्थामें ही जब कि वे गोपकुलमें पल रहे थे, महात्मा श्रीकृष्णने अपनी भुजाओंके बल और पराक्रमको तीनों लोकोंमें विख्यात कर दिया

saṃvardhatā gopakule bālenāiva mahātmanā | vikhyāpitaṃ balaṃ bāhvor triṣu lokeṣu saṃjaya saṃjaya ||

Vaiśampāyana dit : Tandis que ce grand être, à l’âme magnanime, grandissait encore parmi la communauté des bouviers, dès son enfance même il rendit célèbre, dans les trois mondes, la force de ses bras et sa vaillance héroïque, ô Sañjaya.
